Co-curricular Activities (CCAs)
Co-curricular Activities (CCAs) in Singapore primary schools are strongly encouraged (and mandatory in P3 to P6 for many individual schools) to support holistic student development. They typically run for 2 to 3 hours weekly, helping children build character, make friends, and explore new talents outside the standard classroom.

External CCA
From 2025, the school will no longer record students' external activity participation. Keep a personal portfolio and use the DSA portal when applying for secondary school.
Uniformed Groups
Unform Groups function as Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs) designed to teach basic discipline, teamwork, and responsibility.
Club
Club CCAs focus on building interest, creative thinking, and specific soft skills.
Sports
Sports CCAs are designed to help students discover interests and develop character, values, and social-emotional skills. These activities are part of the Programme for Active Learning (PAL) and are offered in various sports and physical activities.
Visual & Performing Arts
Virtual & Performing Arts CCAs cultivate students' creativity, confidence, teamwork, and cultural appreciation through visual arts, music, dance, and theater. These groups often represent their schools at public showcases and the biennial Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) Arts Presentation.
